What? The cat ran outside and you forgot about it? 😧
Full Story
My cat is fine, she wants to wander outside all the time, sometimes you don’t even notice that she slipped outside when someone opens the door. There’s some bushes in my front yard that she hides in for safety.
Last week, my cat spent the night wandering outside. Then at 3-5 AM next morning, my mother woke up to a loud cat meow and opened the front door to check. There it is, my cat dashing toward the door. She slipped outside the night before when the door was opened.
Not to be that guy….but cats are an invasive species and shouldn’t be let out like this.

I didn’t let my cat out, cat let herself out.
It’s very easy to slip beneath someone’s legs while, say, a family member come back home from work, shopping, etc. And sometimes you don’t even notice.
It’s considered neglect regardless on if you didn’t pay attention or not. 2 year old Kid sneaks out and walks away…also neglect. But since it’s kitty it’s somehow ok?
not to be that guy but you dont know everyones situation. what if they live on a farm?
It’s still not a good idea given their status as an invasive species that breeds wildly and kills local wildlife with almost reckless abandon. I’m not saying no one should have a cat, but their introduction to an environment impacts it greatly and mostly negatively.
*looks around the urban neighbourhood of missing cat signs and dead birds everywhere
Totally…
