That’s a weird issue. Do you have encryption on by any chance? I had a similar error pop-up when I didn’t have the correct systems hooks for the kernel so that after install update of kernel would make the system not boot.

Liftoff and thunder. Liftoff has the feature of showing combined feed from multiple accounts so you can see things even when instance are defederated.

It has been the most polished experience so far for me, probably because they had the lemmur code base to begin with. As for adding communities, I’m not sure. The community search works like in Jerboa but I haven’t tried it with new communities not indexed yet.

I have some experience with porkbun. Support is nice and pricing is pretty good. That’s about it. Their own DNS is just cloudflared without many features which I don’t mind because I don’t use it.

I use tailscale for this with no issues. It traverses my CGnat without significant speed reduction. Just install tailscale on the hosts with the services on them and use magic dns or install tailscale on a vm/container and have it advertise your home subnet as a subnet router.
