I would rather the audiobook wait to release by a few weeks/months if it means keeping the same actor.

Again the excuse of ‘no politics’
YOU CAN’T AVOID POLITICS
Accepting contracts from Israel is just as political as denying contracts from Israel. You just stated your political stance by accepting. Why do people think it’s a free copout?
You can buy a house? Damn
The thing about older games and Minecraft being addictive is that it’s sort of fine, because they don’t benefit financially from it so obviously it was unintentional and just because of the entertainment.
It becomes a problem with these new games when they are subscription based or have lots of microtransactions because the more addictive the game, the more money the company makes.
In the case of Minecraft the issues you listed are pretty much present in almost anything entertaining, video games or not, including in-person events and social functions.
As with anything moderation is key and people just need to learn not to let it control them. Some people are incapable of that though.
There are definitely certain things that game companies need to avoid doing but multiple goals, a little bit of luck, and online cooperative play is not it.
There’s a difference between addictive and entertaining.
I wouldn’t call nicotine entertaining.
Opening lootboxes you paid $5 each for is not entertaining.
There should be a tiny fraction of a sliver in the corner somewhere to indicate how much the boss pays on those stolen profits.
I don’t understand why soft drinks are even sold in plastic bottles anymore. Cans work perfectly fine. Sure you might want to re-seal the lid or something but if that’s the case just buy a reusable drink container.
How can something exist if they haven’t made money in 20 years?
How.much debt does the company have that shareholders will be buying into.
Lol I could probably get that kitchen for like $8000. Who the fuck did they hire?
It would be so much easier if drink companies just used standardized containers instead of making their own homemade special designs to try and look fancy.
Orange juice was fine in a 2L cardboard box. We just recently got a jug of Tropicana or some shit and it’s some fancy moulded pitcher shape with a spout and flip up plastic lid. That just makes everything more difficult, especially recycling because it will be a pain to rinse out I bet.
Damn. So if this is the only thing you did related to healthcare in the past year it really cost $1850.
I really don’t understand why there is anyone against universal health insurance in the states.
Pretty much everyone is guaranteed to get major hospital bills at some point in their life. They are paying massive fees to insurance companies to line their pockets instead of hospitals to provide better service.
Sure, taxes will go up a bit to cover it, but what you’ll pay in taxes over your lifetime is going to be no where near what you pay in insurance and healthcare procedures.
I pay $0 annually for insurance, and I can walk in to see my doctor at any moment to consult on something for $0, and if something needs to happen I can get blood work and X-rays for $0, then go to the hospital for surgery for $0 (maybe a $5 parking pass).
And how much are you paying for your health insurance?
Otherwise known as a global economy / no-tariff trading.
Excess calories and energy used to be considered profit.
If mushrooms could store energy in a bank they would be laughing
They forgot the BLT
Companies that force people to use their supplies are “bad companies”
Make good products with competitive pricing and your customers will use your supplies. Easy.
They could simply be chasing the largest profit.
If you have 40 first class seats instead of 60 regular seats, why would you drop the price of the first class if you could make more with the 60 regular seats.
I much prefer random ads anyways. Targeted ads are 90% something You’ve already recently bought.
With random ads sometimes you see something interesting that you didn’t even know you wanted because you didn’t know it even existed.
If I’m looking for a laptop I don’t care to see 1000 ads for laptops, I’m not going to just click an ad and buy one I need to research and deep dive into the kind I want.
