IMO ppl should be using W10 IoT LTSC. That’s the only right way to use W10.
Also, no Linux as Linux still can’t run SM Office. /s

Thanks. After going through, I decided to stick with my current setup.
How is the current state of Plasma 6? Can I drive it on daily basis under Wayland and test it out? I dont have nvidia too.
Yup. Monkrus is the best place
I would also recommend to use CCStopper and use the Add to Hosts option to further block out any attempts to check for genuine.
Adobe PDF is also good if you know where to get it for free. I esp. rely on the editing feature of Adobe PDF. Has saved me so much hassle to edit PDF files cleanly.
If you are looking for Password Manager, then you can support BitWarden by buying their Premium plan.
Exactly.
I have often found malware apps with all sorts of permission on my relatives phones which suddenly started to lag alot. These folders can be easily exploited by malware apps, so its kinda good.
They have moved to 10nm nodes which have density of 7nm nodes of TSMC afaik. They call these nodes Intel 7.
Afaik, Intel is also planning to move Intel 5 and other nodes.
Plasma 6 has been shaping up to real nice. Excited to try it when it launches in Feb.
Kudos to the entire team for doing so much of the leg work.
Yup. I just re-started since it had been quite few days since my laptop had a reboot and boom I was shown this.
Like c’mon, even LTSC is Targetted with such BS, then I’m not sure wtf is going with W11.
What’s the prompt to get this stuff done? This looks wild and interesting.
IMO that logic is really absurd. If you can disable it so that it doesn’t bother you, nor steal your data, then it’s completely fine. They are giving you the option to opt-out.
Honestly, I always remove this component along with IE after installing Windows. Should have long ago been sent to it’s grave.
Pretty sure there was a flag to disable it.
What’s the problem with using uBlock on FF. Gets rids of ads, has ton of features to custom add filters and more.
Also, I kinda like Pocket Integration on FF. Found some interesting articles that way.
I generally install MS Office Fonts, some Adobe Fonts and then Fira Code Nerd Font too.
FF doens’t have Shopping cart afaik.
Srsly, the amount of shit brave has put on its web browser has become too big.
Someone should fork them and remove all of their BS.
Honestly, this is like the first time I heard WinRAR has this big security vulnerability. But I am still planning to stay on WinRAR given its easy to use UI and unlimited free trial.
Just FYI, you could also switch to Windows 10 IoT LTSC for longer support (2029 IG)
