Ah yes, the old “laws don’t work so let’s get rid of them” argument.
Ah yes, the old “laws don’t work so let’s get rid of them” argument.
And there were people on here saying that licensing your comments CC was stupid…
Crypto is a growing concern for a lot of people
What do you mean?
What’s funny is that that’s a description of MEV.
gaining access to pending transactions, altering the movement of the electronic currency, and ultimately stealing $25 million in cryptocurrency from their victim
I skipped “fraudulent” because neither MEV bots nor this attack can be called fraudulent imo, although MEV is definitely taking value one didn’t help create.
Let them eat MEV bot operators.
This is a good question but I would just like to point out that 15 years ago nobody would have predicted that the questions we were asking and answering on stackoverflow would be used to train models (and that open source would have it’s license violated so brazenly) and that if you tried to delete your contributions because you didn’t want them to be used to train models you would get banned from the site, so even though adding a license to your comments might be meaningless, it might also be a powerful tool down the line. You never know how it’ll go.
allowing the scraping and evading X’s own anti-scraping technology.
I wonder why evading anti-scraping technology is not treated like bypassing DRM or the DMCAs anti-circumvention rules.
Nobody is really interested in what their step sister is doing, but we don’t really mind finding out, either.
Not because, no. I think it’s greed.
This is like the “there are some responsible assault rifle owners” argument. Although corporations are not required by law to maximize investor returns, CEO “compensation” is often tied to “performance” so the incentives of those with the most decision power make it de facto required to maximize returns to investors. That’s why Musk needed to convince his board of directors (who are there to represent the best interests of the share holders) to approve some ridiculous pay package. His “performance” in their eyes is proportional to share holder profits so if they’re happy, he gets his absurd pay package, which is why his incentive is to maximize profits for shareholders by any means necessary.
Wow good find. The revolving door in action.
Crazy that the proposed solution to propaganda is banning media instead of investing in education that promotes critical thinking. Or maybe the idea here is “no propaganda except mine”.
Their custom DNS is very ant-crypto. Janet Yellen is the personal resolver.
I think companies call that “innovation” these days.
Or be around Catholics.
Already in the 1920s the Labor movement disregarded its socialist roots and concentrated on building the nation by constructive action. According to Tzahor its leaders did not “abandon fundamental ideological principles”.[15] However, according to Ze’ev Sternhell in his book The Founding Myths of Israel, the labor leaders had already abandoned socialist principles by 1920 and only used them as “mobilizing myths”.
From the page Dataprolet linked.
Fucking hell I didn’t know it was that bad!
Thanks for finally putting up a link. It doesn’t mention anything about Zionism, though, but a few links in it does say that
Zadoc Kahn presented the German Jewish philanthropist Baron Maurice de Hirsch with the project of setting up a Jewish settlement in Argentina, before JCA was created in 1891. Theodor Herzl considered it expensive and unrealistic. In 1896, when Hirsch died, the association owned a thousand square kilometers of land in the country on which lived a thousand households, the “Jewish gauchos”. It focused on agricultural settlements in Argentina until East European Jews were forbidden to emigrate there. In 1920, 150,000 Jews lived in Argentina[8] and new settlements appeared: (Lapin, Rivera), Entre Ríos (San Gregorio, Villa Domínguez, Carmel, Ingeniero Sajaroff, Villa Clara, and Villaguay),[9] and Santa Fe (Moisés Ville) (about 64% Jews lived in Entre Ríos.)[10]
Please remember that Jewish immigrants != Zionism and that Zionism is not the same a Judaism.
I’m kinda dense, what’s the “only one reason for appointing an NSA director to your board”?
