mullvad, for sure! they accept several payment types, even cash! no need to sign up w any identifiable information. they allow 5 devices for the monthly price. split tunnel, port fwd & ipv6 support, too.
They need to stop trying to make dark maga happen 🙄
This was definitely a big help for me: https://linuxjourney.com/
Take a look @ Zen browser! Been using it for a while & it’s pretty good, so far!
This is still a thing?
I have a pair of LG tvs that didn’t require any activation. Might wanna take a look at those?
Definitely stay away from Samsung. All my encounters with Samsung have required some type of sign up-activation process.
I’ve seen some users here also recommend checking out monitors as tvs but I’m not well versed in that area.
Maybe fully reset/restore your phone first to wipe any malicious apps?
If anything, use a degoogled OS instead of android.
Librewolf, Zen & Mullvad browser ( not be confused w Mull)
Like others have stated, using a container is probably the best way to help minimize footprint. Use fake info/data when possible, maybe?
Good luck 🍀
Meta & privacy are like oil & water. The only absolute here is that there is no privacy in meta products.
If someone is interested in privacy communities they’ll listen to all angles, even the absurd & absolutist, so that they can learn more about privacy, which is the whole point of joining the community. The attitude in your comment is actually the total turn off. Way to be open-minded & be willing to engage in constructive conversation.
Wow, that’s fucked 🆙

Took years to get all the ppl I care about on signal & now the effort was definitely worth the reward.
Why don’t you feel comfortable on signal? Honestly it’s worked out for the best in my use case bc I have ppl that use android, iOS, windows, Linux & macOS, so it’s great to not have to deal with shit media quality or messages not going through bc of all the different operating systems. It’s E2EE so I’m not too worried about mass surveillance within my signal groups.
Also, iOS back door? I must have missed that. Haven’t seen any news about that.
Piped is pretty awesome 🪈
PeerTube & FreeTube? I’ve been hearing some good things about both 🧐
Does it have a stingray inside? wtf?
I would agree w this. Had a parent get into a minor fender bender & had to help field calls from multiple injury lawyers.
mullvad or librewolf browsers > brave
