Where can I find beforehand which laptop supports S3? Are there any know brands that do?
I believe OpenSUSE uses something called “meta” packages that contain a bunch of other packages. For example if there’s games-meta package it will fetch a bunch of games and during update it may try to install them again. Search through installed packages and see if you have any meta ones.

A feature exists for 1 day in KDE and we’re already bashing Gnome for its slow dev time?
My perspective is that it’s there so it shows up on search results for “installing Linux” and recommends WSL over bare metal. At least that’s how I understand the wording.
But who knows.
I have openSUSE MicroOS on my server as it comes with great (for me) defaults and has grrat SELinux base without much config.
Try can enable resizing with Meta and Right Click in Gnome Tweaks, it doesn’t cause to move cursor to the center of the window

The best thing for me is that you can buy a battery for it on their site with instructions how to do the replacement. Nothing is glued together according to the manual (which probably makes it mory clunky than Surface but oh well). Coreboot is an icing on the cake.
