Where did they say the government handed out credit scores? The meme was pointing out a double standard, not saying the government hands out credit scores.

Over the past few decades, some people have noticed and commented on the enormous death toll that our reliance on driving and the vast amount of driving hours spent on our roads and said that that amount of death is unacceptable. Nothing has ever been able to come of it because of that aforementioned reliance on driving that our society has. Human nature cannot be the thing that changes, we can’t expect humans to behave differently all of a sudden nor change their ability to focus and drive safely.

But this moment in time, when the shift from human to machine drivers is happening, the time when we shift from beings incapable of performing better on a global scale, to machines able to avoid the current death tolls due to their ability to be vastly more precise than humans, this is the time to reduce that death toll.

If we allow companies to get away with removing sensors from their cars which results in lower safety just so that said company can increase their bottom line, I consider that unacceptable even if the death toll is slightly lower than human driven cars if it could be greatly lower than human driven cars.

Humans are extremely flawed beings and if your standard for leaving companies alone to make as much money as possible is that they are at least minimally better than extremely flawed, I don’t want to live in the same world as you want to live in.

I used to play a high level monk and had, I don’t even remember now, but something like 20-30 attacks per turn. Rolling for all that was bad enough. If you were playing with actual dice rolling 120d4 would give everyone else a chance to go to the store every time you took a turn.

At least they get invited to them. You have to be real sad and lonely to act like you do.

Leave some empty so you can jack up the prices on the others. You have to hire less staff and have less expenses and still make more overall.

Ah this brings back the memories of the race to close pop-ups as you can hear your parents coming home. For every one you close, three pop up to take it’s place. You can hear the key in the lock. Sweat pouring down your face you finally do it, you hit the last X and nothing new pops up. You have defeated the pop-ups… this time.

I’m sure I’ll get shredded for this, but I keep my passwords in a notebook. Every once in a while I go through and change them all into other random nonsense and reorganize to keep it neat. I am a bit of a notebook fanatic and a have a whole shelf full of them. If someone ever broke into my house there’s no way they’re going through all of them to find anything like that. If the house burned down, maybe a bit of a problem, but as long as I have my phone I can get my email back, and between my phone and email I can get any of the important ones back as well.

If I had corporate or government secrets and was the target of espionage I’d probably rethink, but the danger of anything is so minuscule.

I didn’t understand the comic until I read your comment. I guess I’m too deep into the weird to understand that normal people don’t understand/do the collar thing and thought the animal was like a dinner sacrifice or something. Very confused until I read your comment.
