And yet it is…
And yet it is…
I know it’s stupid but /s really should be mandatory if you arennot serious. Because there are too many prople that are
From what I read, this also breaks sponsorblock - as the ads are part of the video, it moves the time stamps of the video so it makes it not correct. The ads will also change I imagine so idk if sponsorblock will be a solution.
as it requires an NPU which the vast majority of systems don’t have
Don’t have at the time. I agree with you but argument that it’s not an issue for many people right now will bite the majority eventually
Afaik Steam has a compatibility layer (Proton) which makes the games run on linux, because the SteamOS which is running on the Steam Deck is Linux. There is Wine you could use for games outside Steam, or you could also try running them throuhg Steam.
Now I have no experience with any of this, but plan to set up Linux dual boot at some point and this is my understanding of things. Somebody better suited will probably chime in with mire details
I did have some issues on firefox om some sites.
Whoa, didn’t even think of that. That’s bleak.
This was exactly what I eas thinking.
I’ve spent a lot of time with offline open source AI running on my computer
Can you elaborate on this? Are there some that are worth looking into?
I’m honestly kinda excited about the possibilities in the greater scheme of things, but the fact that Microsoft will pretty much record whatever people are doing on their systems is just nuts nd slightly terifying. This is something that should ideally be done locally, without big corporations looking in - but that’s for sure not what they are doing.
I honestly don’t know how I could function without password manager. It was one or two passwords for everything or constant resetting becauseI forgot what variaion I used where.
If I’m reading this correctly this runs locally and will requirean NPU, so would not be present or working without AI dedicated hardware?
It honestly sounds useful and I would be a little excited to use it, but I imagine Microsoft will collect the data in some way which would be bad as it pretty much records your screen all the time (I somehow doubt all the info the AI collects will be actually stored locally)?
Hopefuly one day there will be a point when a similar software will be developed that runs 100% locally, storing the data locally and have no internet connectivity and just be a useful tool.
Good news is that unless you have Qualcomm CPU (or one with integrated NPU in the long run) you are safe from it for now
Love how the picture is from when Golum was telling Smeagol he doesn’t have any friends
Good for you then. For me lovely is around 20˚C, 37˚ is basically Hell
37 celsius sounds lovely to you?
Here is what makes no sense to me - if someone throws the caps on the ground, wouldn’t they be less likely to put the bottle in a recycling bin as well?
Had popcorn ready for this one so long
It does have it’s issues, can’t deny that. Can use LibreTube as Android app and 99.9% of my youtube viewing is on mobile
I found this is good explanation: https://lemm.ee/comment/4966310
LibreTube is on F-Droid for an Android app, pretty sure there is something for iOS as well but not sure. It hs its issues but I manage. Set up low tier patreon for some content creators from my “premium budget” too.
Ever since I discovered Piped and LibreTube, I never looked back. And I used premium for years.
From what I read it’s being released to users gradually I think?
