Check out Softwarr “for free” or Real Debrid and Stremio/Kodi if you wanna spend some well spend money, the latter guarantee more content than Netflix etc, the former everything that could ever exists on the internet.

If it fails it is totally on them.
I watched a YouTuber telling something like:
“I cannot believe Apple’s biggest premium VR tech wants to change the world… And they are advertising it with… Fucking spreadsheets”
I am paraphrasing ofc, but the meaning was that this could have been a pretty good toy for everyone, but they are trying to sell it as a work-buddy thingy, yeah seeing those spreadsheets focus was kinda dystopian (like in Ready Player One where they are caged doing work or something hah), watching movies in crazy sites yeah, that was what would have sell it more for me, and other ppl, if it wasn’t crazily expensive.
Samsung does more for android than Google does for goodness sake.
I agree with you, even when I dislike One UI… I think Google although simpler is more of my liking… But oh boy stock AOSP is so limited that for some users it is even too similar to iOS, with the distinction that you can sideload easier (for now).
Lots of features that Google releases each Android iteration literally have been here in One UI, MIUI, Color OS you name it.
How is that even legal?
For the short time of period that I use Cromite I’d say it’s adblocker is goodish, also you could pair it with a Pihole or a DNS adblocker if something leaks I guess…but sadly it has not any browser sync integration, and Firefox does this pretty well.
I am a simple man, just give me an adblocker and Dark Reader, everything else for mobile is a plus.
I have noticed Firefox Beta being slower than Chrome/Cromite in my SD 865 with 6 GBS of RAM device, either opening the app or websites, also it tends to stay alive in the background way less time than Chromium based browsers, but I still chose to use Firefox because of the extension support, and because Chromium has been in the enshitification path for so long.
… And that is why competition and “stealing features” is always good, being Apple’s or Google’s competition.
I know this is an old feature, but do we have the NFC money transfer thingy?
I mean the one where you touch other phone with your phone and transfer money.
If we do I am unaware of it, I use AOSP.
Imagine tomb raiders of steam accounts in the future ☠️
“This account is 132 years old, it is worth it to hack it”.
Work into immortality, ofc.
He died doing what he loved more, creating more backlog.
The ad is the content, from Google’s viewpoint.
Can we ask the AI to remove/omit the ads?
but Windows is so astonishingly terrible on handhelds
The way you are telling me this reminds me of the old HP windows laptops I used to use that their battery life did not even last 2 hours lol (I eventually got a MacBook Pro and that was a massive upgrade).
I still don’t picture windows doing that great with laptops (as in optimization), but I don’t know, I have seen very good laptops with good specs very recently that it could maybe make up for Windows being not optimized for anything.
I’m not sure what else they’d need to do. Other than still produce it, I suppose 😅
Yeah this is the part I’d be worried about if I get a Steam Deck and it has no successor 😅
often have worse frame pacing and battery life especially compared to the OLED model.
Yeah, honestly the fact that the Deck with less raw power leaves similar results is a huge positive point I guess, I honestly haven’t seen anyone complaining that much because of the performance issues.
And yeah, better battery life is always good in my book, I think other handhelds have a joke of battery life.
Huh, TIL the Pi had competition.
and will have the longest support.
I thought Valve wasn’t known for a long support for handheld, at least that is one comment a friend of mine said (that the Deck would be forgotten as the Steam controller).
Ahhh, I suffer from this with old animes!
