So what about the F150 Lightning doesn’t meet that? It actually offers whole house backup which is something that caught my attention

I see way too many around here and people have taken to putting wraps on it. I love seen one that tries to make it look like the Warthog from Halo.
So why hasn’t anyone said much about Apple Intelligence? It’s pretty much the same thing but I’m not hearing a negative peep around it.
Had been. But we’re in a post-accountability era for corporations so most likely nothing will happen.
I said what I said, little shit.
(The kid, not you)
I don’t really feel any remorse though. It didn’t do what I said. It gets the consequences.
Cool cool, now realistically, do you have the time, resources and know how to find and contact every owner of every federated instance these comments have made to? Would you be able to deal with the legal resources of any number of jurisdictions to truly test whether that is actually enforceable?
My point basically is that it’s functionally impossible regardless of what the law says, and you should treat your comments and personal information as such that they won’t ever be able to be deleted or scrubbed.
Except that only applies to federated servers that exist in the EU. If your data gets federated out to a country outside of the EU, they don’t have to listen to your whines of GDPR as it’s not enforceable. And given that you could be federated with hundreds of instances across the world, good luck.
I said the same thing with AI scraping. All someone needs is to add their own instance that federates with everyone else and they can scrape data for AI training till their heart’s content.
wtf are you on about? The Winter Solstice is very much a verifiable fact (it’s actually the 21st so I was a day off) and marks the start of Winter in the northern hemisphere. Christmas is usually (I say usually so you can’t be pedantic about the minority outliers) celebrated on December 25th. That’s still only a few days after the solstice like I was saying.
This comic is talking about the Christmas season, creeping into Halloween and fall festivities, which is very much true in the northern hemisphere. I see your on an NZ instance which, yes the seasons are flipped there, but don’t go getting butt hurt if you can’t read context clues from the comic just because it doesn’t line up with you.
Here’s the issue I have. The Winter solstice (Dec 22nd) marks the start of Winter. Christmas is 3 days later, yet people expect it to be in the middle of winter, so people keep trying to move the season up. Realistically they should be trying to celebrate it in late January rather than pushing it back into Autumn. But they had to go and steal Yule and then keep wanting more time.
That license was laughable and blatant
I just find it fucking hilarious that people expect software to be supported in excess of 10 years, paid or not, when that’s never really been the case over the past 40 years of software. Sure someone will probably come up with an edge case somewhere, but if you developed software, and continually released versions and updates, would you want to maintain a version you released that long ago?
Windows 10 will have been around for 10 years at that point. That’s a pretty good run. You know another OS that is stopping support after 10 years? Ubuntu 14 LTS, but no one complains about that. People freaked out when Windows 7 went EOL, and XP before that.
killing others indirectly
Huh. I wonder how you do that. If the wind knocked down a tree and the tree killed someone, would the wind indirectly have killed someone? That’s kind of like the old adage “speed doesn’t kill, it’s the sudden stop”
One of our spinoff companies wants to act so badly like a start up and be edgy they moved everything to a .io domain. This would be icing on the cake for how cowboy they manage everything.
Really? Where at? Every phone delivery I’ve gotten via UPS does a ding, dong, dash (and sometimes not even ringing the bell). No I don’t have a release signed.
I have to either redirect it to UPS store (hard to do since it’s overnighted and I don’t want to pay an additional fee), or make sure I’m monitoring my camera for motion alerts all day.
So this looks more like an upscale than a remaster? I was hoping they’d use the RDR2 engine for it since a chunk of New Austin was there already.
Say anything nice about Windows, or hell, anything about Windows period and they’ll come out of the woodwork.
I would love to drop these guys into a post scarcity society where their money means jack shit and see how they react.
Yeah he just mentioned “F150 performance” and it’s literally an F150. That’s what prompted my question.
It’ll be great to see them start coming out with smaller truck sized EVs.
