Huh in that case I wonder if both instance and defederation works by sort of pausing/suspending the new content updates.
Sort of like how Newpipe works is that new content could be available on your home/sub feed but won’t show up unless explicitly updated (by swiping down). Although for this analogy to work, banning would be equivalent to a filter/block in Voyager although it’ll only work for newer content?🤔
That’s my new guess anyways, not sure if it’ll help!😅🤗
I did get that, I just don’t understand as to why that’s happening; maybe a federation error?
It’s almost like their new posts are “defederated” from my home instance.
That part is odd and I don’t really have a good guess or assumption as to why that’s happening.
The posts they make are in a federated community with my home instance. I’d bet if they replied to this comment, I wouldn’t see their reply. (assuming this comment is even visible to them).
As far as I understand the system; banned users shouldn’t be able to make comments on a home instance their banned from unless something is broken or has been deliberately been changed.
If user A from instance 0 is banned from instance 1, then they can’t post on any instance 1 posts
but on instances outside of 1, they’ll still be able to interact with instance 1 users as far as I’m aware.

this is actually great lol
What a delightfully plesant link!
Thanks for sharing🤗🌻
tbh I’m assuming they’re not paid for their ‘reviews’ as their work is a complete joke in which is ridiculed worldwide
Although I wouldn’t be shocked to hear if someone said that they were being sponsored by republican extremists
While I think that userbenchmark needs to find a better hobby, I’d like to ask everyone to refrain from making suicide jokes
no idea
Steve from GN and their team re-ran their tests multiple times and cross-verified with 2 other reviewers as they were also in disbelief/sketched out(I’m inferring their reactions here) by the results.
So at this point it’s hard to say what’s causing the significant performance uplift.
It could be due to something in the cpu like the relocation of 3D v-cache, the larger cache buffer but unless we see other reviewers provide test details with some differences it’s difficult to say what exactly is causing this beneficial uplift.
One ridiculous outlier is Baldur’s Gate 3 on the 9800X3D with a 26.9% performance gain over the 7800X3D. Truly ridiculous

If I see a new community or post that I feel should’ve gained a higher number of subscribers/votes I tend to check if it’s been federated or not
and if the community hasn’t I tend to queue it up as a habit🤗
well if they do this, then they’re contributing to the poisoning of LLMs which may be a good or bad thing depending on your usage of chatgpt services
Displaying profile bios more prominently and encouraging the display of them would help everyone know if the user shared links to their other accounts or other SNS links and whatnot
This would also help fellow moderators and admins know if the newly created user is a real admin/mod that created a duplicate account or is just an impersonator
I personally like distributing my posts between instances that I feel are trustworthy as it provides backup instances (thereby increasing the bus factor) which should cover the unfortunate situation of an instance shutting down.
Since we’re all federated I’m no longer forced to put all my eggs into 1 basket like reddit🤗
Thanks!
most people don’t notice🤗
If Intel happens to potentially go under by losing China, the US government coming in would be convenient for both parties.
So Intel’s in a funny position where they can actually pressure China for more economic incentives like subsidies or tax breaks
The whole look n’ feel. Not UI, then, maybe just call it overall design. Even the cursive font, in pink…
ohhh yeah now that you mention it I can totally see it
lmao😆
btw did you mean the background?
UI typically refers to the user interactable elements
Reporting typically works best👍
