Completely useless for firefighting. Putting a drip torch on its ass and letting it walk a line, maybe. But it’s not going to cut down the trees to make a firebreak, who what’s the point.

Why put this much effort in trying to getting banned? Is making up a story based on the headline a creative writing exercise for you?
I actually misunderstood how the titles worked, saw noir, and thought yeah that’s a picture of noir alright.
Yo is this a French pun? I don’t speak French but I’m here for it.
Always an impressive operation they have one peering point in San Francisco and their data centers historically consist of a church and shipping containers.

Ain’t dead yet.
I’m surprised the white house doesn’t just host a mastodon server. I’m sure they consider using unvetted software to communicate to be a security risk, but it’s no less a risk to put your communication channels in the hands of a third party.
I do nothing but shit post and nobody’s banned me yet. A whole lot of folks have blocked me though.
Edit: I take it back, I was banned from shower thoughts it seems, yesterday, but not a lemmy.world site ban. The admins didn’t like kbin doing something it seems. Strange.
Banned
roguetrick from the community Showerthoughts
reason: This account is currently sending large amounts of unusual activities to Lemmy.World. This community ban is an attempt to mitigiate the issue without blocking kbin.social entirely. The issue needs to be addressed on kbin.social prior to us being able to lift this community ban.
We don’t get messages on kbin so I wasn’t notified.
Bring me back to the warm sweet embrace of the algorithm, daddy.
Water is wet. You could’ve easily written the headline saying CD projekt sees future in multiplayer micro transactions. He specifically was hedging that fact with the interview question answer that did not specify between the two. Then this article pops up to carry their water.
The sad part is, they didn’t even likely pay him for this.
Damn small Linux. Not really “installed” of course, but was fun to play around with.
Yikes.
Outsourcing administration instead of doing it in house would be much cheaper for news orgs in the long run I’d think. Volunteer admins is one thing. Staff admins is another.
Hey, we need a robust serial connection to our cartridges for checking ink levels. Nothing more basic would do. /s
No kidding. “We’ve allowed our cartridges to arbitrarily execute code. It’s the user’s fault.”

Sure, but they’re different in kind. Double deckers, twin engine. I think getting kids to spot the differences is interesting.
I don’t get it.
Don’t worry about it. If you were really wrong someone would chomp at the bit to reply to you about how wrong you are. If they’re not, you either have an unpopular or popular enough to be spam, opinion.
Mild psychosis, based on comments.
