Thanks to the whole blackout thing and the many amazing apps that came to Lemmy (like Sync that I’m using rn and loving), Lemmy is now good enough to replace Reddit for the new content (at least in my opinion)
But Reddit is not (or at least not only) an “what’s happening now” social network like Twitter and there is a huge amount of old content on it that can still really useful. So I guess that, in the best scenario, we’ll have Reddit and Lemmy cohexist and complement each other :)

I’ve tried to look at kernel logs opening journalctl -f
or sudo dmsg -H -W
before suspending the system but I’m not an expert and I didn’t found anything weird to me. It just seems that immediately after the sleep state was reached I asked the system to wake up
If you are looking for something light and low maintenance, maybe Mint could be a good fit?
I’ve never daily driven it because I’m not a fan of Cinnamon, but everyone says its light and stable so seems like what you are looking for
