Tried it, felt it was too limited with just markdown. Feature wise i prefer Notion, but i don’t like it’s ongoing feature creep with AI implementation or it’s pricing model.
So if there’s any note taking apps out there with a database page type or proper tables, do let me know.
Man, I tried that approach on a MacOS terminal and it’s confusing as heck. Great for slacking off at work pretending to still be working, though. Someone once made a terminal app for browsing Reddit, maybe they can for Lemmy too? :D
I could be wrong and the speed limit is only for scooters but honestly I don’t care to look into it. I prefer my regular bike and until I’m old and incapable of using that I won’t change.
Edit: Learned a lot about this today. Cheers fellas for the replies!
Denmark already have regulations that stipulate that ebikes and escooters can’t go faster than 20kmt and i feel that’s reasonable. For scooters you’re also required by law to wear a helmet.
Have an elderly patron at the cafe that I volunteer at as a tech support (basically helping the old sods learn how to use their phones and connect to the new digital services from the government in Denmark) and he is a Linux user too. Dude is 79 and is the fella I go to if I have any linux questions. Think he uses an old IBM ThinkPad and practically consoles everything except his web use. I want to stay as pro as him when I turn 79!
I’ve been considering this for a while now. Yes, Musk’s antics are only souring everything about Twitter, but the place is also a font of information that search indexes use. I’ve used Twitter a lot and I don’t want to see the information I’ve shared there to go away. If I do remove my Twitter account, my tweets will only be available through sites like the internet archive.
Using it right now and I’m astounded by how smooth it is. Will be using this for the desktop from now on.
That’s all I use it for now anyways.
Must be to stick it further to Elon - which I applaud. :D
My biggest question is, will it eventually be an actual app?
Naw it doesn’t have upvote and downvote options, it works more like a traditional forum.
Discord has a built in forum like interface, it’s quite decent - but as others have said, it’s not indexed by google and thus pretty useless for newcomers.
Great resource, thanks!
Would love that. kbin seems to be growing a lot these days.
Fuck youtube anyway. Absolute sesspit of influencers, ads and stolen content.
So sad to see that ALL the third-party app devs aren’t backing up about this and goes dark too.
I recommend Astroneer - a solo / multiplayer survival game about collecting resources, refining stuff and building up bases on several planets. It’s hecking fun in multiplayer and it doesn’t have combat. There’s a ton of things to do and if the kids are good at communicating with each other they can quickly conquer the game. The only microtransactiony stuff it has is cosmetics (but it’s not being pushed upon you in any way), but you can unlock some of these through progression as well.
