I imagine it is. Developing something like that in house would take a lot. Probably Collabora or something.

Hannah Montana Linux. Unironically.
I’m not familiar with all of them, but I know several of them are tools. Isn’t it in apple’s best interest to open source the tools if people use and improve them, and subsequently it means they get more money from the app store? And if these are the only things they open source, they still have a tight fist on the vast majority of their code base.
While on the subject of apple and FOSS. They may open source some tools, but do they give back to other projects? I.e. does apple push upstream? Substantially less than google and ms. And I would go so far to say almost never.
I’ve enjoyed Proton for several years, except there ia no Linux desktop client. I intend to test installing the client in a virtual machine running windows, and then use shared folders.
What is it you’d like to do? You might be able to do it with ssh
Laptops often have open slots for hard drives. With his permission open the back and see if he has one. Bonus points for replacing his win10 hd with a 1tb. He’d probably appreciate it enough to give Linux another go
Not all BIOS look the same. Not all computers have the same button to push to enter the BIOS
I’ve used Ardour in the past. It’s similar to adobe audition in the way Kden Live is similar to premier pro
Was going to (quasi) meme post man bash, but this was much better advice
On arch I would reinstall pipewire. Idk if there’s an apt equivalent
It’s worth doing anyway to get a sense of how computationally intensive it is. Then consider how many people ask for the daily fart joke and you get a sense of the environmental impact.
You’d need a massive increase in tech support. Likely more than you’d spend on ms in the first place. Seems a political gambit or a political gaff.
I love this, but having used ms office extensively for work, we all know it has many more features. Libreoffice isn’t a drop in replacement, but maybe with the increased user base it can become one.
Several things
The part of me that loves when kids like math says yay! Every other part of me died when I say you called the height A in a problem that has an area
Those covers are adorable ❤️
You might consider putting a license on it
I’m gonna try to see if you can use a windows vm with proton drive and a shared folder with the host system. Kinda a pain, but if it works it works. What I’d really love is an api for this kind of asshattery
